My Rights! is a programme that has been developed to involve young people (aged 13-25) who experience impairment or disability in thinking about their rights.

The January and February workshops were a great success and we are now excited to offer further workshops in March and April.

By participating in My Rights! you will develop knowledge to speak up for your rights and the rights of other young disabled people.

My Rights! is 3 days of workshops from 9.30am – 3pm, you can choose either 3 Saturdays in a row, 25th March and 1st and 8th April OR Tuesday 18th – Thursday 20th April 2017.

Location: Youthtown Eastgate (opposite Lincraft), Eastgate Mall, Christchurch

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. *Please indicate if you need transport assistance, have any dietary requirements or need support during the day. This workshop is for you and we want to make sure you get the most out of it.

Register your interest by telling us:

1. A situation where you have felt you rights have been breached

2. Why you want to participate in the workshop.
